  17. not entirely sure what you mean by a `package' in this context,
  18. Pierre? but the concept seems good to me. my only question is
  19. compatibility with the `traditional' .sty files described eg in the
  20. latex companion, like times.sty. the .sty files under fonts/metrucs
  21. load one family only, consistently, but the ones in psnfss load
  22. several. its a mess, complained about elsewhere often. one day we have
  23. to bite the bullet and change the expectation that
  24. `\usepackage{times}' sets sans to Helvetica, and tt to Courier
  25.
